Squealing Mercedes brakes are usually aftermarket pads that are a harder composition. Use MB pads and the grease for the back of each pad. Most times the rotor has worn undersize so expect to replace the rotors as well. Special tools?? metric wrenches and shop rags. Crack open each caliper bleed nipple to retract the pistons fully into the caliper by use of a narrow screwdriver between the pad and the rotor. The parking brake is simply a small drum brake assembly inside the rear rotors. Remove one lug bolt and slowly rotate the wheel till the access hole to the star adjuster is visable. Insert long narrow screwdriver into hole to rotate the star wheel till the shoes drag slightly on the drum. Reinstall lug bolt. Adjusting the park brake cables very seldom necc on an MB. I think you and I and maybe 5 other people use the parking brake!!
