[QUOTE=kristian85;2243187]Mates,
What the heck is the Lambda Controller, anyway? Where is it? This is the error code I get--I can't find anything about this Lambda controller anywhere. I have an oscillating idle and that error code; engine FI harness and ETA have been redone >>
Well, I don't know if you have a "92 E400....or maybe a "95 420E , etc., or what..??
Model/yr.
So , I will just take a stab at it being the former.
That info suggest my first suspects would be a vac leak or a ruptured fuel presure regulator diaphragm.
Look for vac hose leaks and then with car @ idle , take the vac hose off the FP reg and see if any petro comes out that vac port..if YES, replace the FP reg, as it is allowing un-metered fuel into the intake, causing your osc idle..just as a vac leak will do..
The Lamda Control system can't do it's job correctly with either condition.
