Thanks for the input. He has been coy about telling me a "ball park" and i want this car and as you say - i dont want to offend him. He has every record for the car and the original bill of sale is there too - he bought it in his early 50's and has clearly spared no expense in its up-keep. This would be a keeper if i can land it.
