How to use battery to power window motor
------------
Problem: Front drivers/left side window not working.
As soon as ignition is turned on, Fuse G blows. Button does not need to be pressed -- it blows right away soon as key is on.
- Replaced switch with working good one.
- Replaced window motor and with battery it will go up and down fine.
- Removed Black + Green power cables completely from door and routed through to center console.
- Removed cables from switch so completely out of the equation and fuse still blows
- Looked at wiring diagram and the Black/Yellow wire feeds power from the fuse box to the button in the center console
- checked black/yellow wire coming out of Fuse G at box...and it looked fine.
Kinda lost on what to do from here
Obviously the blk/ylw wire is shorting somewhere....but do I really need to gut the entire dash to chase this wire??
So its gotta be shorting somewhere from the fuse box to the window switch.
Kinda-maybe-related: The center console lights turn off when the window switch is pressed.
