Just a few hours ago I test drove my 82 SD with 3" exhaust and a Garrett GT23V. Even with only 0.5 bar max. boost the car is way faster than with the stock charger and without any smoke (there is also some potential).

Restriction in fuel will be history at least when the new Holly65 elemeents are ready in the next few weeks.

But as I said before, even now there is a huge difference.
I will change the spring of the boost regulation actuator (before I will fab an adjustable actuator) to get 0.8 bar, then give her a little more fuel until smoke starts.
