Thanx guys..... did the local gran prix; found a set of new sparks...bosch...replaced old set..50 to 60 thou on old set, they all smelt gassy. once the new ones were installed, tried to start car .. no joy. Then i remembered mike indicating that he had pulled fuse for fuel pump.. pulled fuse, turned key, instant gratification. Replaced fuse, instant start, took for a 2 hour drive...very noticeable improvement in starting, driveability, and acceleration.... and the darn thing was fast before! also replaced air filters at the same time.

M.B. Doc, and Mike, many thanx for the suggestions and help,

Mithra.
