Hydraulic Suspension Flush

Hey I am new to this forum. Pretty Cool.

I bought a 91 300te about 2 weeks ago. It needs a few things here and there, but it is in pretty good shape as a whole.

It was in a slow speed accident in the front left corner and the hydraulic tank for the rear suspension is cracked in. I found a new one in town and got the MB hydraulic fluid. The old tank had quite a bit of black crud in it. I put the new tank on and I am wonder should I just fill it and close the lid? I am new to this whole type of system so any advice would be helpful. I thought it would be a good time to clean out the system if there is a way to do that.

Thanks in advance.
Daniel
