12X,000 km is very low mileage for these cars. The 230E is not a model we have in the US and I am assuming that it is a four cylinder. If it is not an M103, we have minimal experience with that in the US in the 124 car, it is typically in the 201 car.

IMHO it is impossible to predict part failures based on mileage. I believe you will be best served by putting your efforts into proper preventive maintenance such as frequent oil changes, frequent coolant changes and generally keeping an eye on everything. On my car some things seem to break earlier than they do for others and other things seem to go forever that have given others trouble at much earlier mileage.

With such a low mileage example, I suggest that you keep wearing out those hood hinges so you can keep an eye on everything.
