(It had already passed through an auction house, and two owners, but was still in his name!!) and he was an extremely argumentative older asian guy, asking where I had gotten his number, and basically told me that he didn't care at all to help me. When in reality I was trying to help him, by telling him that this car was still a liability to him. I guess he didn't care and hung up on me after about three minutes. Oh well.
I'm sorry you had a bad experience with your original owner He sounded like a jerk and it's a good thing that the car is in your hands instead of his! Yeah it seems PO's are generally cool about new owners calling, I know I would be!
