Yes, cut/pulled the old return lines off. There is a small nic on the barb of that #2. I tried using some fine sand paper to clean up that nic. helped somewhat. I also tried putting some safety wire around the return line to try and seal it a bit better.

I only recently got the car, and it has leaked for as long as i've had it. Been chasing down little problems since, and this seems to be the last big one.
