In the Service Manual it tells you to use Grease in the Grooves (Flutes) of the Reamer to trap the Carbon. They do not give a special type of Grease.

I use Wheel Bearing Grease becaust that is what I have available.
I tried Vasoline but it is too runny at normal temps.

If any Grease gets in the Prechamber I think it would burn. I am not sure what antiseeze would do. Although, antiseez is less likely to come out of the Grooves.
