Visor vanity mirror falling out of visor... how to fix?

The subject describes my problem: my driver's side vanity mirror has loosened to the point where it will fall out if I move the visor against the windshield.

It fell out once already, revealing some old looking glue, and some equally old foam that fills the sunvisor.

My question is, what is the best way to repair it? I don't want to use a glue that will dissolve the foam inside the visor.

Has anyone successfully repaired one of these?
Any help appreciated. Thanks, Bob
