My wife an I have been looking at a few used E 320 4-matic wagons and recently looked at two that each had a reset code message. As a result some of the electronic accessories did not work on these cars. Both dealers told us this was not a big deal and the Mercedes dealer could easily reset the code.

Does anyone know what this reset code message means and is it really not a big deal? If it's not a big deal what didn't they have it done? Does the dealer really have to reset the code or can it be done at home?
