alright i figured it out with some help from the guys at 190rev.



to remove the right hand passenger side vent surround, remove the panel underneath the globe box (3 phillips screws, easy)

then locate the big black air tube ( easy to find, biggest thing under there) and give it a good solid tug in a down back motion and you will hear it come free.
