G-wagons never had a 617-95X so the original engine was not a turbo charged engine. 280 HP out of a 617-95X with a myna pump and a intercooler is certainly with the normal ranges what can be expected with a myna pump. Change the turbo and add a large intecooler and you can get up to 500HP with stock internals.
