So I was adjusting the ALDA on my friend's 1984 300TD and I heard the dreaded click. Now the car smokes heavily on acceleration.

This is the 3rd ALDA I've adjusted but the first one I trashed.

I'm hoping to find one with the black cap still in place for cheap. I'm hoping to spend no more than $25 plus shipping.
