FS Mercedes 1987 USA "Introduction into service" manual

FOR SALE: 1987 "Introduction into service" manual for Mercedes USA models 107, 124, 126, and 201. This is a 260-page paper manual, an original factory manual, not a CD or a cheap knock-off copy. It measures 8-1/4 by 11-3/4 inches and weighs almost 2 pounds! Dated October 1986, this manual covers changes instituted by Mercedes for the 1987 model year.

This "preliminary" manual is the same as the final version because all of the changes were copied and inserted by the original owner, a mechanic, including his invaluable notes.

Because Mercedes does not repeat itself, much of what is in the "introduction" manuals is not in the factory service model. This is especially true for the 260E, the 190E 2.3, the 190E 2.6, and the 190D 2.5 Turbo, all of which were new in 1987. The 5-cylinder 602.911 turbodiesel engine was introduced this year; many details of this engine are available nowhere else in Mercedes literature.

Price $20 including free surface shipping in the USA. Payment by check or PayPal. PM if interested.
