this situation brings up an appropriate example of mistreating of dealers. (Note I am not a dealer). A person goes to an accoutant, the accountant does all the bookeeping and makes a figure for the person to pay for taxes. Is it right for the person to tell the accountant to sort all the receipts together and charge nothing? A headliner removal is most likely a PITA. What did you expect, for them to put it all back together and charge you nada. If you take your car to the dealer don't expect them to charge you midas prices. And those of you complaining of technician charges haven't experienced paying a dental technician. As a dentist, once one of my equipments break, the technicians charge $130 for every half hour. Once you take your car to the dealer be prepared to bleed; no one is forcing you to take it in.
