OK, my motor mount is just stuck
Amazingly, all of the bolts holding the motor mounts onto my 240D broke free without a whole lot of trouble (other than the PITA of getting the allen wrench in the hole. With all three bolts out, I jacked up the engine w/ a 2X4 ... the whole car just goes up, mount intact. There aren't any engine shocks on this car, unless I'm really, really stupid, which is a possibility tonight. Should I just pry the mount apart? Maybe it's just stuck? Am I missing something?
