Fiscally, this is one of the dumbest things I've seen in some time.

From a strictly money and time spent aspect he could have built himself a really nice 190sl and had a car that actually appreciated in value!

Esthetically they have ruined this car!

I can only hope the builder either learns his lesson about bastardizing 2 classics, or that he's out of money and can't do this to any other worthwhile cars.
