first thing you need to do is ohm out the coil assy and see if it is shorted. These coils should only draw 4.2 amps cold 3.7 amps warm.It sounds like you coil(clutch hub assy) is shorted. You can replace this on the car with a special clutch removal tool without breaking the system loose. I always get my clutch hub assy from local dealer in reman, that way I know the quality and they stand behind the warranty. Good luck
