I just drove from Acton CA(northern LA County) to Peachtree City Ga to deliver Sylvia (1989 560SEL) to the young buyer and his dad. Wonderful trip, Mostly on Route 66 (I-40) to Memphis, TN. Then Southe on 78 through upper Alabama to I-20 then on through the pucker brush to PTC.
A great and peaceful drive of 2200 miles and NO problems, Save for that one Arkansas State trooper. But He didn't give me a ticket, just slowed down my trip across Arkansas.

Kinda nice to drive cross country with only your thoughts. Helps to give one balance.

I know how you feel being unemployed, It used to drive me crazy until I found anoter job. since I have owned horses, I found that they give one a reason to get up on those UE days...then I retired.
