It's finally time to start purchasing parts for my OM617 rebuild. The head gasket I pulled off was made by Goetz. is this OEM for Mercedes? What are any of your experiences with head gaskets on these? I am a little leery of Elring as I've read about many failures the BMW guys have with that brand. Interestingly Elring is quiet a bit more expensive than Goetz. Guess it's not always in the price with quality.
