I never thought about that as an application, because it wasn't really mentioned in the owner's manual. It's like owning a Ponton in the 1950s where they give you a 7mm Allen wrench for loosening the clamp that holds the wheel bearing on if you have to change/grease them after going through a lot of water.

If you didn't know that it was used for that, you'd wonder why you had it.

Unfortunately, no one outside the Forum knows about that, except some guy named Erfurt who lives in Stuttgart and used to pack the tool kits into the cars in the 1980s....
