I guess I misrepresented the question. The clunk isn't from the tranny itself. The clunk comes when going over bumps and is in the rear of the car. I am trying sway bar links to see if that helps. The tranny itself is just slow to shift when backing out of a parking lot, like shifting into reverse......waiting.....engage...back ou, then shift to drive....waiting.....engage....
