I'm not sure I agree on the lowering. Sure, it looks good, but I've got a set of 16x8s on my '95 and IMO it looks correct, fills the fenderwells properly and rides great at stock ride-height (in sig). There is a trade-off when you reduce the primary suspension component (tires) a great deal with a +2 or +3" wheel like you're considering, lowering the car will further degrade the ride and driveability to the point where it'll be like driving an '80s Corvette. BTDT a few times. Slammed crappy-riding cars are perfect for Hondas.

If you want to enjoy driving the car, drive it for transportation and hauling, lowering the car will make it much less useable IMO. Leave the lowering for a show car and let the wagon have some pride with +1 or +2 wheels x7.5" and correct offset, Michelins, and keep it useable.
