This is all assuming you have the distributor indexed correctly??? Rotor is pointing to cylinder #1 lug (properly connected to plug #1) when at TDC compression / ignition stroke changeover?

Don't overlook the simple stuff: My 107 was Out Of Service for 3 months with maladjusted points.
