I would check the compressor clutch for too much current draw. Normal load of the clutch is 3 to 4 amps. One other note, according to my information that should be a 25amp fuse. That information is from AllData not a fuse box cover so check the list on the cover and see that it jives. I believe the blower is on that fuse too. The blower will draw as high as 16amps or more on a worn one. Mercedes has a modification on this fuse. They have a fuse relocater kit that moves the fuse outside the box and uses the 30amp strip fuse instead. You might pull up the top of the fuse holder and see if your fuse box has started to melt from all this current running through it. I've seen that a few times too. If so installing this kit is good idea. Good luck.
