My last, (and probably best) Mercedes-Benz diesel was an '83 300SD with
305K miles on-the-clock, when I replaced it as my daily-driver, and bought an E300TD new, in '99. It sold in one week parked in front of my home for full asking - $4,950.00. Most everything worked on it - cruise, A/C, moonroof, all lights, instrument cluster-tach, etc. no rust either......great car.
