The Flexx boots are of thinner rubber so they will stretch and go over the hardware. Consequently they are good for "only" 10 years; the factory boots usually last 20. The real expense is the Flex gun -- I don't know if there's one in our tool rental program yet. If you have non-noisy joints and access to a Flexx gun, that is a good option.
