Thanks Craig, I never thought about a municipal waste dump. There is one not too far from me. One point of note:

Will not accept radioactive waste, infectious or biological waste, explosives, water reactive chemicals, large compressed gas cylinders, or appliances.

Good to know that I cannot dump my radioactive waste there.
