yuke; what is your Timing Chain Stretch and what method did you use to get it?
I did not measure it yet but was told by a benz mechanic who last year adjusted my valves that my tensioner looked like it was about at the end of it's travel not sure if he was just trying to drum up some buisness or not but the motor does probably have at least 225,000 on it but i do'nt know the history on it.I do know that the car will not go over 85 mph and I do think an 85 300 SD should do what the speedometer or close to it which goes up to 120.I'm thinking the chain and maybe some injection timing would put some new life in the old girl.
