Thanks. The dealer said that they did about $2900 worth of work on it. I'll see if these items are on the list and done at a reputable place. Interesting about the self-leveling rear end. I forgot that it was on these cars. My other car, a 1956 Packard, has an automatic load leveling torsion bar suspension. The kids really get a kick out of sitting on the back bumper and having it pick them up. Of course, none of them are going to be around when all of that playing causes me to have to fix it down the road... :-)
