It makes me very sad to make the above observation. One of the best times of my life was cuing records ala WKRP.
If it wasn't for my wife insisting on watching Okra every day at 4pm, I would have cut the sat a while back. Even DirecTV knows where things are going. You can purchase the NFL package and stream it via their software which is based on Adobe Air.
My LG Bluray player streams Netflix and other services. In fact, I've only played one disc on it. The rest is streaming audio and video.
