My brother in law was rear ended a couple of months ago. 2001 Toyota Corolla CE - manual locks, manual windows, "low" retail at best - probably a sub $3,000 car.

He received nearly $10,000 from the other driver's insurance company. I was amazed and thought someone made a mistake...
