One thing is for certain: you can't trust a poll, either. I wish I had a nickel for every time I was told "I just replaced my xxxxx a few months ago." Then, after a little investigation, a "few months" actually turns out to be five years. Just the other day I told a neighbor he needed new spark plugs. He responded "I just replaced them!!!" "Just" turned out to be the year 2000.
