I was thinking about fixing my Becker Europa Cassette myself cause I like the look (the volume was flaky and the cassette player didn't work), but when I opened it up, it looked bad, and I'm not an electrical engineer. I can handle a pair of wire strippers and a soldering iron, but you'd want to be reasonably well versed in audio hardware before you take on one of these. I've got an after-market JVC that I took from my parts car. It works, but if I want the Becker back, I'd send it to them and I'd get the aux port.
