I may be acquiring a 2.3 190e (1988 I believe) and will most likely part it out. Car had been running great and suffered a sudden transmission failure. Trans dipstick is dry, so I will check to see if it's something as simple as a leak at hoses (etc...) before parting, but I really just want the wheels and tires off the car. Any interest in parts? Cheap, cheap, cheap... not sure how much testing I'll be able to do, but I'll price things out accordingly. Just looking to make a few bucks back before I sent the carcass to the crusher (as the floors are a bit rusty). Car is here in east central IL. I'd part with the whole thing (minus wheels/tires and stereo) for $200, or $250 with my old wheels and tires to transport it on. Weather permitting, I may have it here within a couple of weeks.
