Not sure about your tranny but mine have 'alignment holes" down in the shifter arms where they hang underneath the shifter. Up in the driveshaft "alley'. The rods are adjusted with a pin (nail/what ever) through those "alignment holes' Not likely the adjustment on a rods changed tho, might be worth a check anyway.
