Based on recommendations from this forum I took my 97 E300D to this shop yesterday, March 1st . I live in Burlington County approximately 30 minutes from the shop.

My transmission sounded like it was not shifting properly ( I know little about auto repair). I needed a "shift plate". My car was repaired the next afternoon.

The service was very friendly. I spoke with the shop owner Ascher (?) & Jerry. Jerry diagnosed the problem as he was driving my car to the back of the shop and told me so.
