Since I don't track my old Benz, or live in the Rocky mountains, I found the PBR pads to be the best choice for me. These pads DO NOT DUST like all the others, and don't squeal or eat rotors any worse. They do require a tad more pedal pressure for the first mile, but not much. They will easily take all four wheel into ABS lockup from over 80 MPH (I tried it), and exhibit no problems in driving rain. So, I see no compromise, just a LOOOOOOOOT less dust to clean. As I said, if I tracked my 20-year-old car, or drove really hard down mountains, I might not use these.
