Looked on All Parts Express under 524TD - managed to find glow plugs, timing belt, tranny gasket and filter, head gasket set, etc - fairly cheap too compared to the '87 MB. Now, if I knew where to find reasonably priced fuel injection components, like injectors and a pump just in case, I'd have a warm fuzzy that i could keep the beast running if I got it.
Guy also had it listed on ebay - someone posted the link in the Open Discussion thread - bidding ended back in Feb, reserve not met. I could've sworn when I first looked at the Autotrader ad, he was asking 4 grand, but today it lists 5 grand - either I misread it first time around, or he recognized he has a rare bird on his hands. Only 220 views on the Autotrader ad.
