yes....tried that, too....

i noticed the top bolt on the passenger side was much tougher to loosen..also, like i said, i needed a cheater bar to get leverage for the bottom bolts....

i also just don't have the arm strength like i used to.....

hopefully it won't be much more than 75 dollars to change the drivers side...
