Please ignoe some of my typos!

WELL some NEW findings that lead ME to ask for opinions!

I just put the injectors back in blead the lines, changed the oil and fired it up! Need to balance the injectors as soon as I get my pop tester built!

The smoke diminished, but NOW smells more like fuel then oil (faint odor of oil-BUT if its firing with the valves open/BLOWBY?)!

Called VSTECH_________He told me to take the cover off and check the cam marks! I JUST LOVE OJT____BENZ-WRENCHIN' 101!

Pulled the valve cover off again...lined up the cam marks and the balancer says about 10* degrees BTDC??? NOT sure if the guy that put the lower together did it wrong or some kind of a tweak setting??? Smoke could be from firing BTDC and IP timing????

The only thing is I do not know what he might have done! I know that when I get it up top___spin the balancer to around 11* the cam washer is past the CAM TOWER mark a little over 1/8"____I think that the chain is off a TOOTH!
