Maybe it's just a personal dislike. The SEC-style (grill front) star has always bothered me for several reasons. First of all, it just looks gaudy and attention-grabbing to me, and secondly -- 75% of the fun of HAVING a hood star is seeing it proudly from behind the wheel. I wouldn't want one where it was hidden. Having both just seems... idk. Too flasy somehow. The single star is always understated but still gets noticed just because it's relatively unique, and if I had my choice between one or the other I'd much rather position it up on top.
