thanks for the replies. I'm having trouble locating a 19MM flare nut
wrench. Snapon tools makes one and, speaking of which, I have developed a real hunger for getting myself a set of snapons.
of course, I"ll have to get one of the famous Snapon calendars
to go along with the new tools..... that'll give me something to
think about besides busting my knuckles trying to get those
transmission oil lines loose.

thanks for everyone's help, I"ll keep everyone informed of how it comes
out. I've got a new radiator I'm going to install and then
have to solve an engine noise which will be fun. good thing I'm
committed to keeping these old ones on the road as this one has
become a major project.

now....let's see......stare at Snapon tool calendar or climb back under the car to bust my knuckles......hmmm, tough decision......
