BENDIX or ATE caliper?

This question is common.

The answer is: most models offered both brands, and MB did not document which was installed = EPC can not tell us what was installed..

Danger: You can not mix these brands = isolate them front axle or rear axle...

You must check every caliper on used cars..

The LOGO (BENDIX) or (ATE) is cast into the piston shell of the hose/bleeder side on each caliper.

A stiff wire brush may be needed to break away corrosion.
