Well I've decided to get the box rebuilt & am getting a shift kit also for extra 200. This way I get a rock solid platform to work with from scratch. A 2nd hand trans doesn't seem a viable option when you need to purchase it then hope it checks out fine. Too bad if it doesn't.

Box will be ready by next Tuesday. Spoke also with LPG workshop & boss is checking over the latest engine properly to see if it has any mileage issues. Failing a thumbs up engine will be stripped down & rebuilt. Perhaps using the forgies from te orig' buggered engine car cam with.

Should know by next week regardless. Then I can get the car out of the garage & over to workshop
