I used an ammeter to measure the draw. It is drawing 1.7 amps with no key on and no fuses or relays in the fuse block. I also have the OVP out. I fear that I will never be able to find this short (perhaps a few thousand bucks spent at the dealer could find it). I guess I just need to start disconnecting components in the engine bay and see when the draw stops. I sure hope the issue IS in the engine compartment.. atleast it will be easy to fix in there. I hate to think of a short under the dash.
