Nice write up. the 80amp is an improvement over the 65amp.

there were quite a few threads on using the 115amp bosch AL-129-X that is used on the Saab`s. I think 87 thru early 90`s. don`t see much talk about it any more.

It is a little larger that the 65amp, but fits right in there, and uses the stock "V" belts after swaping pullys. made new wiring harness with larger wire.
